About

Morrison Furniture and More

When I was younger, I watched families clean out the homes of loved ones who had passed. A roll‑off dumpster would arrive, and everything — clothes, furniture, appliances, collectibles, even family photo albums — was thrown away. No sorting, no second chances, no thought of where it would all end up. The same thing happened when local stores closed: whatever remained was sent straight to a landfill.

When I asked why these items weren’t being sold or rehomed, the answer was always the same:

“Who would take on that project? That’s a lot of work.”

And when I said I would, the response was,

“You’re just one person. How much difference can you make?”

Maybe I am just one person — but so are you. And together, we can make a difference.

In 2003, I opened my first online store, Fox_trading_co, selling new and used items from estates and closed businesses. What began on eBay has grown to include Amazon, Poshmark, Etsy, and more.

But the roots of this work go back much further. Over 100 years ago, my grandfather began selling used furniture from the back of a wagon. He built a business based on quality, honesty, and service to the community he loved. My father continued that legacy. Both are gone now, but Morrisons Furniture and More was created in their memory — a way to honor their values and keep their tradition alive.

Since 2003, more than 60,000 items have found new homes. Every sale helps reduce landfill waste, preserve history, and support local organizations. Together with our buyers, we’ve been able to contribute to volunteer fire departments, food pantries across Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties, The Watertown Urban Mission, WPBS, the Jefferson County SPCA, The American Heart Association, The Kidney Foundation, and many others.

Our inventory is always changing — antiques, collectibles, furniture, and hand‑crafted items with stories worth continuing.

If you’re searching for something unique, meaningful, or simply built to last, you’ll find it here.
